U9GT2 antenna modification
. . . Thanks for your help, Dave! I will try that software, let's see if it helps - I hope so!
The other option, there you will need to open the tablet and replace the antenna..? Is there any guides how to open the tablet and to do this? . .
Here is the instruction by computourist, ref: http://samenkopen.net/action_topic/3356 ... 99#4500799
Translated by Google Translate :)

The Cube is open well with two pieces of hard clear plastic packaging, such as SD cards sitting around. Slide between the casing and the screen and push it along the short and long edge, so the tablet is released. Start where the on / off switch is located.

I have an external wifi antenna from an old AP removed the plastic cover, giving you a nice little dipooltje left. That neatly with coax in place of the old antenna soldered. The result is a substantial improvement. Reception is good enough to "broadcast missed" first look in places where reception was scarcely possible.

Hello experts !

Could someone who had successfully dis-assembled the U9GT2 to give me some helpful tips ? :)
I am trying to open mine, but I can't see any gap to insert anything which could pry to screen from the housing. Maybe a close up picture would be helpful.

My thought is about replacing the internal antenna. Perhaps I have one to try :)

And it was stripped from its cover:

Hello mark_at and orgos,

Thanks for the tips, guys. Somehow, the link 4shared did not work for me. Do I have to register ?
Alright, I sharpen a PC backplane cover, picture attached, and was able to insert the blade between the screen and the aluminum housing, right below the power button.
. Then I applied a little pressure to pry the screen up. It did not move.
. I moved the pry tool haft way up the try again. It did not move.
. I worked the tool along downward from the power button, then repeat the above. It did not move.
So how much pressure does it take ? The pry tool has to be all the way down to the bottom of the housing or half way ?
Hah ! my ball is so tiny. :D
