-Based off of stock firmware 20130702
-Stock firmware all ready has 2GB app partition, so this was left alone
-Fixed Build.prop for better market access (GT-i9300) (the i9300 is the Exynos Quad based SIII)
-Removed Chinese Apps\Junk and added some commonly found apps.
-Firmware is in English by default
-Antutu benchmark score of 19472

Will working on rooting down the road, when I get more input from others with more experience than myself.

Flash using RKbatch tool v1.7. Please report any bugs. If any developers want to improve on what I have feel free, just give credit, where credit is due.

I have been getting asked how to flash this tablet so here goes:
Tools can be found here:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/cx2r40gdeg55ibs/RKBatchToolv1.7.zip
Decompress the tools to a folder, or something.
Connect the tablet via usb while holding the volume down button on the tablet, and continue to hold it.
If your computer asks for a driver it is included with the tools.
Install USB driver
Double click the “RKBatchTool” inside tools folder.
Choose the firmware downloaded.
After the PC finds the tablet, and the device icon turns green, click “restore”.
If the device detected under the status of Pink , please click “Switch”, and the status will switch to Green (standby status).
When the restore process is done, the tablet will turn on automatically, then you can disconnect the tablet from the PC.
NOTE: A RESTORE WILL ERASE ALL PREVIOUS DATA.

Hiya,

Thanks for doing the rom.

I already have the FW 20130702 on the tablet and have frozen the Chinese apps, is it still worth installing this rom, or should I just replace the build.prop?

BTW, this tablet is lighting already, I have a Ainol 7 Venus which is quad core (and latest optimized rom), and this S1 Pro is 3X faster in benchmarks and in use. The only benefit is the better resolution on the Venus, and brighter screen.

Changes to the buildprop allow the tablet to emulate another similar device, which is more popular, or more widely known brand. This allows (in most cases) more apps from google play to work. Are you still running the stock ROM?

I have rooted the firmware, and added some applications that are commonly found to go along with the root access. I will upload the firmware when I am at a location with a faster connection.
