RK3066 Linux Kitchen unpack repack tools
Does this work with Pipo S1 rom's and without ClockworkMod?
The tools should work for any RK3066 ROM images.

RK3066 Linux Kitchen unpack repack tools

I tried to use this tool but I am not sure if I did the correct setup.

I run ubuntu 12.0 using Virtualbox

I unzipped the package to a folder called "rk3066_kitchen_v1.1" in Desktop (/home/[myname]/Desktop)

I put a copy of the firmware into root directory ("/") using mv command in terminal (su)

When I ran the program, it quickly went back to the menu. I did not see any sys_temp folder or extracted files.

I already have libssl1.0.0 installed.

I read this thread and tried to install "libssl-dev" but got the following error message:

Package dependencies cannot be resolved

libssl-dev: Depends: libssl1.0.0 (=1.0.1-4ubuntu3) but 1.0.1-4ubuntu5.5 is to be installed

Can you tell me what I did wrong? Thanks.

to avoid any issue regarding compatibility i highly recommend to instal a virtual machine with linux. it no difficult and it does not take to much time.

I have the same issue but on Ubuntu 10.04 LTS VirtualBox :( . I need to extract boot.img to change bootsplash (initlogo.rle). I hope your tool can extract kernel/boot/recovery images TabModder :) .

Hi Tab_modder,

Using your kitchen tools, I created a CWM package from Roman2025's pipo_m1_TNT_R6.img and installed it via CWM 5.5.0.4 touch. Unfortunately, the screen is splashed out and the tablet unusable. Could you give it a try or give some pointers for possible fixes?

Cheers
