Edison bq RK3066 kkernel source: Download

[ROM] RK3066 Custom Firmware Orgos V1.0C Android 4.04

JMI is taking their time with the v1 ROM... It would be so useful to get to JB.

Anyway... the Kernel source for the Edison could be useful but it is incomplete. If you can't compile, it is no use.
Tablets:
Acer Iconia A100 w/ ICS beta ROM (Dead)
Onda Vi10 Elite w/ CM 10 Preview 4 - Kernel 3.0.36 (Broken Battery connection)
97s (Yuandao N90 clone) w/ customized Orgos 1.0c ROM
(working on a JB ROM for the 97s)

Any chance you could make it support 800*480 resolutions?

EDIT:

The story is I bricked my tablet, there is no firmware I can find, I've been working on my own kernel but with some but little success as I don't know what hardware is actually on the device,
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B009ON0NF6/ref=oh_details_o06_s00_i01

That is the tablet( not helpful but you can see the resolution. )

I've opened it up already and attempted to find the correct serial number for the devices LCD.

Bar-Code on display cable = 800K 000 AT5428ET.
Actual imprinted writing on lcd =
7300101466
^^ Google comes up with some results but doesn't have any information on the required driver or specification that I can find.

RU E231732
NETRON - DY -> 2
94v - 0 \ 1232

On the board there is a RK3066 SoC for definite.

Any ideas on how to either force the resolution to the correct resolution or where I could obtain the drivers for the LCD and how to apply them to an existing kernel?

Some users have had success setting their resolution using Allwinner Mod which is available from Google Play. The suggestion is to try setting DPI to 120 and tablet profile to Motorola Xoom. Please report back if this works for you.

Low resolution settings are normally between 120 and 140 so you may need to experiment a little.

Hi All,

Which firmware do you recommend flashing on the Visture V4 instead of the officials?

Thanks!
