[ROM] RK3066 Custom Firmware Orgos V1.0C Android 4.04

I had a curious behavior of my battery indicator with a fast battery drain. I had to delete several times the batterystats.bin in the /data/system folder until I had a full battery charge.
Everything is ok now : Battery drain is regular.

Icewyng, the framework come from the lastest release of the N90 II, that is similar file in the both roms

bach0405, the battery status is something that I've also been watching the last two days, 100 to 75% too fast. I'm trying out why it happens.

By the way, how can I make a backup (with following restore in case)? I will be very greatful for any reference as I am a new pilot in the issue? :)

It is my issue-after full charging during 12 hours (as requested by supplier from aliexpress) the loosing power from 100% to 70% is very fast (5-10 minutes). Actually I am in a negotiation with supplier, they are acking to check working time of the tablet without video and music now :)
What I found yesterday that if during charging I put 97s in to shutdown than it will up again and charging level became not 100% (as before shutsdown) but 60% and continue to charge. Today morning it became again charging from 60% after restart...

I used your firmware on my PIPO M1. Everything seems good except when I used Ads Aways to block ads, it said this firmware has S-ON/OFF feature like HTC phones. Thus, at the end, I can't get access to host file to apply ads blocking rules. Does anyone know how to fix it ?

Try what I said before :

go to full charge and delete batterystats.bin in the /data/system folder
I had to do it three times. It seems to calibrate the battery indicator. It is a known issue of jmi tab 97. It is mentioned in that the new firmware fixes this issue.

here is the link for solving the issue (in french)

http://www.jmitech.fr/index.php/faq

here the link for the new firmware

I am not sure that this device is totally compatible but it looks like R2000 tablet.

Try this from http://www.slatedroid.com/topic/36560-rooted-official-firmware-cube-u30gt-h-v103-28-july-2012/:

This is interesting no need to run any other software to update.

This cut from the http://vondroid.com/....php?f=46&t=389

So technically we should be able to run updates straight from the SD card which saves having to use the rock tools. I haven't tested this out BUT if someone wants to then try it out.

1) Copy update.img to root of SD
2) Mount SD
3) Unmount
4) Mount
5) Wait and see if the message appears.

It really work. i just update today from sd.

This is pretty typical of RK tablets! In fact that is what update.img is really for. It will update boot, kernel, system without erasing user data when update.img is put onSDcard
. Sorry nothing new here

I have not tested it.

Sorry, at the moment, this rom need the rktools load methods, what happened to the usb port?

If you need a alternative load method, maybe i can help you with a nandroid backup of my rom, but you need the CWD recovery installed on your tablet. It is a idea...

Sorry, this issue is known issue for me. At the moment, you can install adfree, this application is similar to adway and work fine with my rom.

I send this incident to adaway developer with additional information, i hope they can help me.
