CX-919 - Similar to MINIX NEO X7, but only $104.99

Hi,
just wondered why this unit is using a 5v DC 1.5A when the original Minix X7 is using a 5V DC 3A....
any ideas?
is anybody already tried to install Linux (Picuntu or another) yet on it?

Thanks in advance for your helps and comments.
Regards
Erix
