Tablets from Big Name and No Name Manufacturers :)

Well, 2011 was a golden year for android tablets. The only talk in town was which tablet is to buy and what rom to flash :) . This topic is not intended to be a complete list, as such may be the job for wikipedia. It is just a limited reference that I gathered during some google searching.

Asus Eee Pad MeMo
7-inch tablet with a quad-core processor and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, all of it for a mere $249. This is the real iPad killer, as that term has become so common, and here it is. The display is a lovely 7-inch WXGA resolution IPS panel, there’s 1GB of memory inside, and it has an NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor on the inside.

So, what of the above do you have ? and how many ? :)

Dave,

Tablets from Big Name and No Name Manufacturers :)

I have the Asus Tranformer TF101. Great tablet. Soon to have Asus backed upgrade to 4.0 (ICS). There are ports available.

*sidenote* Dave, I edited the list for the Asus Transformer Prime... It has Android 3.2 standard, and most of the newer units are now coming with Android 4.0 (ICS). There are still issues that Asus is sorting out with the TF Prime, but I think it's still a great tablet.

If I had $600 laying around, I'd love to have one... lol. That thing looks pretty nasty (in a good way). It'd be great to have an all-in-one like that for everyday, instead of lugging around a tablet and a phone.

Make that 600$ to around 1000$ for all the accessories, maybe a bit more ;D
